Two Men Seriously Injuried on the Job

In Washington two workers received serious injuries while on the job. It appears that while the two men were working when they were hit by a steel beam.

"D.C. Fire and EMS spokesman Alan Etter said the men were about 30 feet below ground when they were lowering the beam and something broke loose." The injuries, while not life-threatening, are serious. One of the injured men was hit in the head by the steel beam, while the other was struck across the back.
