Whirl Pool Products Targeted as Defective

The class-action lawsuit against Whirlpool Corporation includes anyone in the United States who purchased a side-by-side refrigerator manufactured by Whirlpool since 2000 and sold under the Whirlpool, Kitchen Aid or Roper brand names.

The complaint was filed on Monday with the U.S. District Court in the western District of Arkansas. In Rush et al. v. Whirlpool Corporation, plaintiffs Paula Rush of Churchville, Maryland, and Diane Perry of Chico, California bring a product liability suit. Apparently the ice makers in the refrigerators do not work. Additionally, the temperature fluctuates causing flooding to occur. Needless to say, the flooding is causing a substantial amount of damage to the homes where the refrigerators are being used.
