The Department of Consumer Protection has announced a voluntary recall of Baby's Bliss Gripe Water. The FDA are warning consumers not to serve this drink. Specifically " The product is Baby's Bliss Gripe Water, Apple with code number 26952V expiration date October 2008.

It appears that cryptosporidium, a parasite that can cause intestinal infections, has been found in the drink. This came to light after a 6-week-old infant in Minnesota became ill after consuming the product. If you have given this product to an infants and/or child, be alert for diarrhea and other signs of Cryptosporidium infection.
