Are Common Vaccines Defective Products?

There seems to be a much noted trend of babies that are thriving until they get vaccines and then they just slip away. Many of the parents of these children have very similar stories, and many parents are convinced that the vaccines given to their children are defective produts.

They reports include observing their children's "loss of speech and eye contact, high fever, constant pain, screaming, bowel problems, no sleep. The children no longer respond to their names; later, they are diagnosed with autism or related disorders." As one parent, Theresa Cedillo, put it "Words alone cannot explain the trauma of watching your only child's health deteriorate to such a degree before your eyes."

Cedillo v. Secretary of Health and Human Services has been chosen as a test case. The outcome of the case will hopefully guide other claims and prevent the need for repetitive work and experts. " The determination also could shake -- or bolster -- public confidence in the vaccine system and affect autism litigation worldwide." The will be three weeks of testimony at which time causation will be looked at and picked apart.

This particular trial will go before three special masters. "There's never been another case like this," says Kevin Conway of Boston's Conway, Homer & Chin-Caplan, one of Cedillo's lawyers.
