Two Arrested for Staging Automobile Accidents

California State Automobile Association (CSAA) Special Investigation Unit was the first to notice fraudulent activity involving Ron Ranasingh (also known as Harsh Rana Singe) 38, of Ontario, Canada; Jennifer Huynh, 52, of San Jose; Neil Forde, 41, of Hollis, New York and another individual who has yet to be named.

This little group was staging automobile accidents in California and then filing fraudulent insurance claims for medical treatment that they never received. Their method of operation was to stage three vehicle accidents, which they did between February 2003 and September 2004. Following the staged accidents they submitted thousands of dollars in false insurance claims. Neil Forde, 41, of Hollis, New York is expected to turn himself in. Talks are ongoing in the arrest of the fourth suspect.

Considering the amount of money these types of schemes cost honest, hardworking people, it feels great to know that at least these particular individuals will be taken off the streets and punished for their greed and total lack of regard for others.
